Standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This statement describes our current status honestly: we have designed and tested against that standard, and we have not commissioned an independent third-party audit, so we do not claim certified conformance.

Measures in place

  • Semantic structure with a single main landmark, a logical heading order and a skip-to-content link.
  • Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators, no keyboard traps and accessible menus and dialogs.
  • Labelled form fields with required and optional fields marked in text, and errors announced to assistive technology.
  • Text contrast targeted at WCAG AA, including over header video, with layouts that reflow when zoomed or resized.
  • Decorative header videos that are muted, carry no essential information, contain no flashing content and are replaced by a still image when reduced motion is requested.

Known limitations

Some long-form editorial layouts and the header video treatments are still being refined for very small screens at high zoom levels. We correct reported issues as a priority.
